Coastal Walks, villages and towns

The BIG one is the Causeway Coastal Path.

A 33 mile linear path starting from the Barmouth at the far end of Portstewart strand – 16 miles (25 km) from Longview House.

The Gobbins Coastal path.

Reputed to be the best coastal walk in Europe – 47 miles (76 km) from Longview House.

All with blue flag beaches:

  • Portrush (East and West Strands), Portstewart, Portballintrae and White Park Bay are all 12 miles (20 kms) driving distance from Ballymoney
  • Benone Strand and Downhill Beach – 18 and 15 miles respectively
Golf Courses
  • Royal Portrush – home of the 2019 Open
  • Portstewart (two golf courses) –  home of the 2021 Irish Open (please book early)
  • Roe Park Golf Course
